What does the Auroom Baia curved lounge actually look like?

The Baia lounge rises from the shared seating platform into a curved recliner. It is built from narrow wood slats, with a raised back and a dipped seat. Our doorway photo shows the whole curve beside the flat bench, so you can see how the two seating positions share the room.

Can two people use different seating positions in the Baia?

Yes. The photographed Baia has a flat sitting bench on one side and a curved lounge on the other. One person can sit upright while the other reclines. The lounge occupies its own shaped section; this is a different arrangement from two people sharing one straight bench.

Is the Baia lounge a flat bench you can lie on?

Accepted Answer

The Baia lounge is a shaped recliner, not a flat sleeping surface. Its curved seat supports a bent-body position and its back rises toward the wall. If lying completely straight is your priority, compare a long straight upper bench as well as this lounge shape.

How much floor space does the wood-front Baia take up?

The wood-front Baia factory plan measures 64.2 inches wide by 64.2 inches deep. That is the sauna itself, before space for the outward-opening door and installation access. This square footprint contains both the flat bench and the curved lounge shown in our tour.

How tall is the wood-front Auroom Baia?

Accepted Answer

The matching Baia factory plan shows an overall height of 80.7 inches. That is the outside height of the assembled sauna, not the ceiling space needed to assemble it. The room also needs installation access above and around the panels according to the manual for the supplied kit.

Question 6

What is the small bench in front of the Baia seating?

Accepted Answer

The factory plan identifies it as a movable bench, measuring about 22 inches by 31.5 inches across the top. In the photo it sits below the main seating, giving you an intermediate place to step or rest your feet. It is separate from the fixed lounge and upper bench.

How deep is the Baia seating beside the lounge?

The Baia plan labels the upper seating band across the back at 25.6 inches deep. The lounge then curves away from that flat band, so its comfort cannot be reduced to one rectangular bench measurement. Our view from the flat bench shows the change from level seating to the shaped recliner.

Is this Baia tour the wood-front or glass-front model?

This tour shows the wood-front Baia with a glass door. The front includes solid wood around the entrance, unlike the separate Baia Glass design. The interior lounge idea is related, but the front construction and dimensions should be checked against the exact version you choose.

Where is the Baia light hidden?

The Baia light is tucked behind the flat bench backrest, casting an upward glow onto the wood wall. You see the light on the paneling rather than a bare strip facing you. The doorway photo also shows how that glow reaches the curved lounge across the room.

Does the flat Baia bench have a backrest too?

Yes. A separate slatted backrest runs along the wall beside the flat bench. The curved lounge supplies its own shaped back support. Our photo from inside the entrance shows those two different supports together, which is useful if you prefer sitting upright for part of a sauna session.

Does every Auroom indoor sauna have an aluminum base?

Accepted Answer

No. The matching Baia wood-front factory drawing specifies a wooden base frame. Auroom uses different construction details across its models, so an aluminum-base description from a Libera or Nativa should not be applied to the Baia. Compare the exact model drawing when planning the floor beneath it.

Question 12

What direction does the wood paneling run in the Baia?

The wall boards run horizontally, while the narrow lounge slats follow the curve of the seat and back. That contrast makes the recliner shape easy to read in the real photos. The wood-front Baia plan specifies matching Thermo-Aspen for the interior and exterior paneling of this configuration.
