Auroom Cala Glass: Interior, Benches and Glass Front

Question 1

How much of the Cala Glass front is actually glass?

Accepted Answer

The front is made from a glass door and fixed glass beside it, framed by the wood enclosure. Our showroom photo shows the entire front rather than only the door. You can see the bench and backrest light through the glass, including when the entrance is closed.

Question 2

Does the Cala Glass have a raised upper bench?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Cala Glass has an upper sitting bench with a lower level in front of it. Ben points out the footstep in our walkthrough because it makes the upper bench easier to reach. The photo through the front shows how the two levels fit inside the room.

Question 3

Is there a backrest on the Cala Glass bench?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A separate wood backrest runs across the wall behind the upper bench. It keeps your back away from the wall paneling and hides the light strip behind its upper edge. Our close view shows the backrest, sitting surface and wall together.

Question 4

What does the Cala Glass backrest lighting look like?

Accepted Answer

The light forms a continuous glow along the top of the backrest. It washes the horizontal wall boards above the bench, leaving the strip itself behind the wood. Our interior photos show the lit sauna, including the darker Thermo-Aspen around the light.

Is the inside Cala Glass door handle wood or metal?

Accepted Answer

The photographed Cala Glass has wood on the inside of the door handle and metal on the outside. In our walkthrough Ben puts it simply: “we like heat in the sauna, but we don’t like hot hands.” The handle is part of the view through the glass front.

Why is the wood darker in this Cala Glass tour?

Accepted Answer

This is the Thermo-Aspen version Ben introduces in our walkthrough. It has a deeper brown appearance than the pale Aspen Mini beside it in the showroom. The real photos show natural variation from board to board; the backrest light also changes how warm the wood looks.

Can you see out of the Cala Glass while sitting on the bench?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The seated view looks through the full glass front into the surrounding room. The glass is not only above eye level or confined to a narrow door window. Your placement in the home will therefore affect both the view from the bench and privacy from outside.

Question 8

Are the Cala Glass walls curved or flat?

Accepted Answer

The photographed Cala Glass has straight walls built from horizontal wood boards. The board edges and lighting create rounded shadows, but the room does not have the curved lounge of a Baia or the sculpted wall profile of a Nativa. The interior close-up makes that distinction clear.

Question 9

Can a six-foot person sit upright in the Cala Glass?

Accepted Answer

In our walkthrough, Ben says he is about six feet tall and demonstrates sitting upright with space above his head. That is a real seated demonstration, not a guarantee for every person’s torso length. It is also different from having enough bench length to lie flat.

Question 10

Does the Cala Glass arrive as loose boards or assembled panels?

Accepted Answer

The Cala Glass uses preassembled panels, as Ben explains in our walkthrough. You assemble the room from those larger sections and then install the interior and glass. That makes the delivery route for the panels a separate planning question from whether the finished sauna footprint fits the room.

What is the most obvious difference between Cala Glass and Mini?

Accepted Answer

The Cala Glass gives you a wider bench across the back, while the Mini is a narrow one-person room. Our showroom photo places them beside each other, which makes that difference easier to judge than separate cropped product pictures. Both use a glass front and a lit backrest.
