SaunaLife E7G: Barrel Benches, Glass and Lighting

01 / Benches & seating

Do people face each other in the SaunaLife E7G?

Yes. Two long benches face one another across the center aisle in the E7G we photographed. The heater sits at the far end between them. This arrangement gives each side a backrest against the barrel wall and leaves a direct route from the glass door toward the heater.

Are the E7G backrests flat against the barrel wall?

The E7G uses shaped, slatted backrests that follow the curve of the barrel while presenting a supported sitting surface. They stand in front of the shell rather than making you lean directly on its curved boards. The close bench view also shows lighting along the top of the backrest.

How deep is the SaunaLife E7G bench?

The E7G dimension drawing labels the seat depth as 17.8 inches. That measurement is the bench depth, not the distance from the wall to the center aisle or the height above the floor. The photo shows how the shaped backrest meets the sitting surface.

How high are the E7G benches?

The E7G drawing measures 25 inches from the bench top to the inside bottom of the barrel shell. The fitted floor grate sits above that reference, so this is not the height above the walking surface. Both side benches share the same level.

Does the E7G have glass beside the door?

Yes. The E7G has a glass front wall with fixed glass on both sides of its central glass door. That gives the bench ends an outward view as well as the doorway. The rear of this photographed E7G is wood, so its main view is toward the front.

Does the E7G in your tour have a rear window?

No. This E7G has a solid wood rear wall behind the heater, with a small round ventilation opening high on the wall. The panoramic glass is at the entrance end. That distinction matters when choosing which direction the sauna should face on a patio or in a garden.

Where is the E7G lighting mounted?

The photographed E7G has continuous light along the backrests, washing the wood above the seats. The fixtures are out of the direct sitting area. This produces a different look from a single ceiling light and makes the backrest shape easy to see in the interior views.

Is the colored lighting in the E7G tour standard white lighting?

The tour includes the showroom E7G with colored lighting and display accessories. SaunaLife lists white LED lighting for the E7G and a separate E MOOD color-lighting option. The blue-lit bucket in this photograph is an accessory on display, not evidence that every item pictured is included.

Is the E7G’s 81-inch barrel size its total installed height?

The E7G dimension drawing separates the round shell from the sauna’s overall height on its supports. It labels the outside shell width 80.7 inches and the overall height 84.6 inches. Use the full installed-height dimension when checking an overhead obstruction.

Where does the heater go in the photographed E7G?
