What does lighting behind a sauna backrest look like?
In the Libera Glass, the light runs behind the horizontal backrest and washes the vertical wood above it. The X7 uses a similar position with a different wall and backrest pattern. You see the illuminated surfaces rather than a light aimed at your face in these photographed views.

Why does the Nativa interior look different from a plain wood-lined sauna?
The Nativa uses narrow horizontal profiles with changes in depth, so light and shadow repeat across the walls, bench fronts and floor grid. Our walkthrough calls attention to those three-dimensional lines. The close photos show the effect around the bench ends and across the walls.

Which photographed sauna uses the strongest contrast behind the bench?
The Vulcana places a dark feature panel behind lighter benches and wood walls. Light around the panel outlines its shape. Compare that with the Libera Glass, where the backrest light falls across a wood surface without the same dark center. The contrast comes from the material arrangement as well as the lighting.

How does horizontal versus vertical woodwork change a sauna interior?
Horizontal profiles carry your eye across the Nativa walls. The Libera Glass has vertical wall boards behind a horizontal backrest. Seeing both from the bench makes the distinction clearer than looking only at their glass fronts.

Can I choose an exact sauna wood color from these photos?
Use the photos to compare grain, profile and overall appearance, but use a physical finish sample for an exact color decision. The E7G lighting views show how strongly illumination can change the apparent wood color in one room. Daylight, warm interior lights and camera exposure also change what you see.

What makes some sauna benches look as if they float?
The Nativa uses glass and aluminum in its lower bench support design, as shown and described in our Nativa walkthrough. That gives the seating a lighter appearance than a solid wood front. Compare the finished entry view with the X7 slatted bench front, then use the walkthrough for a closer look at the Nativa supports.
